You might know author James Kennedy from his 90-Second Newbery Film Festival (which returns to Rochester's Eastman Museum on April 20!). Join him on Thursday, April 18 as he presents his new horror thriller for adults BRIDE OF THE TORNADO, which the Chicago Tribune named one of the "Top 10 Books of 2023" and Booklist praised as "gooey, gory, and frightening." It'll be a raucous evening with tornado songs, tornado readings, and even a tornado trivia contest!
James will also talk about his other books, the adult sci-fi novel DARE TO KNOW (named by the London Times Saturday Review as their "Best Sci-Fi Book of 2021") and the young adult fantasy THE ORDER OF ODD-FISH. The event is sponsored by Teaching Artists Roc and Rochester's Writers & Books, and books will be available for sale and signing.
